                      Health Club is an association of students in college for taking care of everything that is necessary for keeping an individual healthy. Health club deals with activities for the students to possess good overall health which includes Mental health, Physical Health, Emotional Health, and Social health. The club’s vision is to develop sensitivity among students in particular and the community in general regarding health and nutrition, awareness and maintenance of a healthy life style. As one of its programmes and activities aimed to this effect, it has been conducting aerobic exercises for the students and teachers.

Objectives

 

The Government of India has given fitness and good health a national priority to motivate every person to come up to sound physical standards. In order to address the Health issues and create awareness towards students, faculties and staff members, the Health Club was initiated with unique objectives.

  • To create awareness about the Health status and Health related issues among female and male students, faculties and staff members.
  • To accord high priority to  physical and mental fitness.
  • To promote awareness about Healthy Habits among the staff and students on the campus
  • To encourage and adopt policies and practices towards fitness and well-being.
  • To promote and provide awareness about food safety.
  • To provide counselling for the various health problems to the staff and students on the campus
  • To create awareness about the health status among the members of the staff and students on the campus
