One day faculty development programme - Gateway To Research and UGC Care Publications And Research Ethics was organized by post graduate department of commerce in association with ifc –the business school on October 15,2022 at Nasra college of arts & science, Tirurkkad in order to provide the fundamentals of research and inspiring the participants to do research.
There were more 65 participants to the programme. The programme was financially promoted by college management and ifc- The Business School and sponsored by Valluvanadu Press and Talent press in kind.
The first technical session was headed by Dr.Jassimudeen .S. Librarian. St .Stephens College, Uzhavoor ,Kottayam . On the topic “Gateway to research and Fellowships” The session is meant to provide fundamentals of research process and various fellowships available to the research scholars.
The second technical session was handled by Dr.Surendran Cherukodan .Assistant Librarian, CUSAT. On the topic “Research publications” .The session was meant to provide an insight in to the publication of articles in journals.
In the third technical session Dr.Vinod .V.M ,Librarian.University Library,University of Calicut delivered class on the topic “Research ethics and Plagiarism in research” .The session was to give an awareness on ethics to be followed in doing research work and the chances of mistakes and plagiarism in research .
