The Department of English at Nasra College of Arts and Science, Tirurkad conducted a Parents Meeting for the 3rd and 5th semester students on 23rd October 2025. The meeting aimed to strengthen the collaboration between parents and the department in supporting the academic progress and overall development of students. The session began with a welcome address by Sabira M, Head of the Department and was inaugurated by the Principal Dr.P Zubair. During the event, the department also appreciated the toppers of the 2nd Semester(Sahiya, Riswana & Rinshedha) and 4th Semester (Zakkiya, Aleema & Naznin)for their outstanding academic performance. Faculty members presented a detailed report on the academic performance, attendance, and classroom participation of students, as well as updates on the department’s curricular and co-curricular activities. Parents were given the opportunity to share their feedback and suggestions regarding the learning environment and student support initiatives. Constructive discussions were held about enhancing student discipline, communication skills, and career readiness. The meeting concluded with an expression of gratitude to all the parents for their active participation and continuous support. The department reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining regular communication with parents to ensure the holistic development of students.
